Lake Munmorah High School has a close association with water. The sails on our badge reflect this close association with the waterways of Lake Munmorah, Lake Macquarie and the Pacific Ocean.
Central to our badge is the mainsail and spinnaker working together. This is representative of our belief in the importance of the whole school community working as one.
The colours used in the badge have been selected from the school colours of our partner primary schools. This was done to reinforce the links with our local community.
One of our core beliefs is that together, we the school community, can achieve any goal. Our school motto “Setting the Standard” reflects our shared belief in the pursuit of excellence in achieving these goals.
