Lake Munmorah High School acknowledges that every student has different expectations, goals and direction in relation to their final years of schooling and their career and employment pathways.
Not every student enters their final years of schooling with the goal of obtaining an ATAR and heading to University. Some students will actively seek full time employment, an apprenticeship or traineeship or seek enrolment into a registered training institute e.g. TAFE.
Whatever the final post school destination for your child, it is important that you are actively involved in the journey. A combination of family / carer support and active involvement from the LMHS Career & Transition Team will ensure your child is able to identify their interests, abilities and establish future goals and direction.
Members of the LMHS Career & Transition team meet with students as required to assist them in planning and guiding their subject selections, career and employment goals and future pathways.
